Updated Feed Library
Newsclip is evolving rapidly… in fact, we’re gearing up for some really cool feature updates in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, we decided to overhaul our (admittedly stale) Feed Library with new content and services to make Newsclip a better platform.
From the main Newsclip Screen (what we affectionately call the “Feed Manager”), bring up the Menu and select “Add Feeds From List”. After a quick network connection, a categorized list of possible subscriptions is presented.
We’ve added:
- Local Events - Get a live listing of local events from 30 of the biggest cities in Canada and the US from Eventful.com
- Local Weather - Get the latest weather bulletins from 30 of the biggest cities in Canada and the US from RSSWeather.com
- My NHL/NBA Teams - Quickly subcribe to bulletins from your favourite NHL and NBA Teams from Yahoo! Sports(playoffs are here!)
- Business & Finance - We’ve added quick links allowing you to subscribe to major financial indices via Yahoo! Finance
- Movies & TV - What’s New and Coming up in Theatres and DVD from Yahoo! Movies
All told, these quick changes will make Newsclip better and more personalized for you. Stay tuned, because there’s a lot more coming.
