NCAA Madness!
On Saturday night, with one second on the clock, seventh ranked Texas Tech scored a touchdown and defeated number one ranked Texas. Fans had to be cleared from the field three times before the final tick came off the clock to end the game. There is nothing like college sports to see true passion for a game!
I was fortunate to have been able to follow all this action on my smartphone using Viigo’s NCAA Football service, which was launched on Friday afternoon. It’s pretty awesome to track the progress of your favorite team, live, wherever you are, especially as we move towards Bowl season.
To access the NCAA service select Sports from the home screen and choose “Add Sports”.
From there select Football and then NCAA. At this point you will find the option of adding live scores, NCAA Standings for 25 conferences as well as general NCAA Football news or news on your favorite team.
Scores – Access to what is taking place in a game as it is occurring.
Team specific news – If just knowing the score is not enough to satisfy your thirst for what happened in the game, you would then want to be sure to add team specific news to your Viigo.
Standings – Staying current with the roller coaster ride that is NCAA football means you will want to be sure you have the standings services added to your Viigo. Again, this is available for all 25 Conferences and will soon also include the BCS ranking.
All of this information is gathered together in one simple to view and navigate presentation.
