Viigo brings new Government and Emergency Services feeds your BlackBerry
We have just added a new folder within the Channel Library. Called Government, it contains an initial set of US and Canadian Government and Emergency Services feeds (more content and countries to follow shortly).
The feeds (which are available in News && RSS by hitting Menu->Add Channel) include:
- Breaking Government News from the USA.GOV News, including General, Business and Economic, Consumer, Defense, Education, Environment Family, Public Safety and Science and Technology feeds.
- FEMA feeds (US), including News Releases, Federal Disaster Declarations and Daily National Situation Updates.
- A sample of regional emergency services feeds, including Toronto Police and Fire incidents, LA Fire Incidents, @Emergency News, California Wildfires etc.
- US Cyber Security (CERT) Feeds, including Security Alerts, Bulletins, Tips, Recently Published Vulnerabilities and Current Activity.
When combined with our Alerts and Notifications capability, you can have Viigo notify you when important security and/or emergency services information is published.
